Meet The Team

Stanley Octavius, PT, DPT

Stanley is the president and founder of  DIRECC. He graduated from the University of Saint Augustine with a Doctorate degree in physical therapy, and he also received a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Florida Gulf Coast University. He was born in Haiti and emigrated to the US for better opportunities. His parents taught him early on that the key to success is to fear God and show respect to everyone he comes across. ​

Throughout life, God placed many great mentors on his path and each contributed in their own fashion. He believes that the greatest gift he received through his struggles was hope. Thus, his goal is to use the blessings God has given him to pass on that everlasting torch of hope to those in need.

​Stanley is currently a licensed Physical Therapist in Florida. In his free time, he enjoys running
and playing soccer.

Eliquene Germain

As a co-founder and Vice President who grew up in Gonaives, Haiti, Eliquene is extremely
passionate about DIRECC’s mission of providing a helping hand to those who need it. He knows
just how daunting the prospects are for the youth and believes whole-heartedly in the
organization’s ability to make a difference. As a motivational speaker and former soccer player
and coach; Eliquene understands the importance of mentorship and providing guidance.

Eliquene currently lives in Southwest Florida with his family, and in his free time he enjoys reading and watching the English Premier League. 

Jean Boss

With a bachelors in business from Saint John’s University, Jean lends his expertise to the
organization as treasurer. Outside of said role, Jean works full-time as a banker where his keen
attention to detail and interpersonal skills translate to great service for his clients. Jean believes
that positively impacting those around you is the best route to lasting happiness which is why he
identifies with DIRECC’s vision and goals for his birth country. When not working, he likes to
read, learn to make new dishes, and play basketball.

Gilbert Tam, PT, DPT

Gilbert is the secretary of DIRECC and helps coordinate meetings and handling of  communication. He joined DIRECC because of his values as a healthcare provider to help underrepresented communities. 

In addition to work as a physical therapist, Gilbert is an avid martial artist and kickboxer. He also likes to travel and go on camping trips on his motorcycle.

Christella Cesar

Christella currently lives in Naples, FL.

However, growing up in Gonaives, Christella has witnessed first-hand the struggles and hardship that
many in the community face. It is that experience and the desire to do something meaningful in
life that inspired her to join DIRECC where she can help those in need. It is her hope that by
providing a place where those in need can receive support and guidance, she might open the door
to a better tomorrow for the current youth. “Everyone deserves a chance to succeed and thrive,
regardless of their past or current circumstances”.
